I am a Quickbooks Certified Proadvisor and I provide engagements for clients that need consulting, setup/implementation, and ongoing G/L duties. Many business owners might not need a full-time accountant, but often get stuck doing accounting/bookkeeping work that distracts from running the actual business. I can help, and provide the reporting and transparency you need to focus on your services, customers, and employees.

WHAT I OFFER: Accounting and back-office duties can be complex, but I can help organize

✮ Daily, Weekly, and Monthly accounting duties, such as entering and reviewing bills and invoices, reporting on invoice aging, cashflow, reconciling inventory, bank accounts, credit card accounts, merchant credit card statements, comparing and reporting on budget to actual reports, applying expenses and revenue to projects/customers for job costing and profitability tracking, implementing and enforcing commissions/bonuses, and much more.

✮ Reconciling and synchronizing other services that connect to Quickbooks Online, such as web stores and credit card processing services.

✮ Payroll workflows using QBO’s excellent and affordable integrated payroll features. I can make payroll a snap and you can easily review payroll reports.

✮ Helping to design and enforce workflows for your business. You’ll often need custom forms that employees, customers, and vendors need to fill out or include in their duties. Do you need to approve every instance where employees pull inventory? Maybe requiring a signed proposal or invoice from a customer is a better workflow. I can enforce this through reconciling inventory and matching it to customers. I can implement a wide variety of workflows in a similar manner.

✮ Training your employees on data entry and record keeping to make accounting and operations go much smoother, and reviewing what they enter. QBO has very good auditing and cleanup tools.

✮ Excel and Google Sheets expertise to handle other workflows and tracking not easily done in other software. I can untangle and streamline your web of workbooks. Do you use templates? Named ranges? VBA? If you implement templates for consistency, and named ranges for easy access, VBA can extract valuable data for your business. I can implement this and many other best practices. You can also eliminate repetitive tasks with VBA and I can help.


WHY REMOTE WORK?: Remote work makes it easy to work with a professional accountant without committing to hiring someone full-time, or taking on the expense and commitment of a W-2 employee. Quickbooks Online is a great tool for remote work and has easily eclipsed the desktop version. QBO also has excellent support for connecting to other online services, keeping your data safe in the cloud.
