            Every big hotel must have their own policies and procedures to make sure that the entire business actions are practiced in agreement with the particular policy. These policies and procedures on hotel business will contain and explain which sections grip on assured roles and how every role is accomplished on a day-to-day base. Therefore, each hotel must make and put the policies and procedures into their daily practice, and give the training to support the employees recognize and understand properly about their positions of occupation. The policies and procedures are also important as they will be the foundation for each employee to perform their works daily. Therefore, for my forthcoming hotel, I will create some policies to protect my business from breaching any laws such as:

Safety Policy of hotel business

        Safety policy is fundamental for no matter which field of business that our company functioning in. For my upcoming hotel, I will create safety policy which will give complete directions and guidelines for all the employees on how to do their work safely. For example like, the policy for all the employees to move any heavy equipment from one place to another, the company will create a safety policy to prevent the employees to injure themselves.

Disciplinary Policy of hotel business

        I will highlight the expectations for employees’ performance in the employee's first job description, so that it will be a proof to show a history of issues by listing those problems in frequent appraisals along with the write-ups to prevent any violation on disciplinary policy.

Planning policy of hotel business

        Planning policy supports the highest management of the hotel to expect its forthcoming requirements along with the new products which able to be advanced to reach these requirements. Accommodations management and new construction approaches are also verbalized by planning policy. Therefore, the management in my upcoming hotel will provide guidance and training for each employee to make them understand properly on the importance of this planning policy to assists the company reaches the goals. And every month the management will conduct an internal audit to make sure that the planning policy is working properly in the hotel.

Accounting policy of hotel business

            I will create an accounting policy which will give direction on how the fiscal statistics movements throughout the hotel business. Which info is required when acquiring resources, how the bills are funded, and fiscal declaration training are all together in accounting policies. My accounting policy will also include the methods to calculate the income and expenses that the company gain to estimate the profit or loss for the company as well. And the Internal audit will be made every month to observe whether the hotel gains the benefits or loss. If the result from this internal audit is that the hotel gain loss, then the management should renew the policy to make it better and meet the requirement to achieve the goals.

Work hours and turnaround time of hotel business

            For the intensive client, my hotel needs to have customers service which work properly with good manner and reply to customers who wish to contact at all hours. This is particularly true due to my business is working in the hospitality field. Therefore, I will create a strong work hours policy to help describe obtainability and will make it clearer for my customers and also let the employees to know the time when they are obliged to any transaction or deal with a customers and the time when they aren’t. With this kind of policy, I hope will help my hotel to adopt a better culture and also a better relationship with the customers.

Device use policies of hotel business

            Along with the free internet in hotel’s area, there will be a lot of possibilities that often flop which related to the activities of employees. There are many of prohibited online performance has been regularized into the opinion where some people never figure out to protect contrary to it. For examples, prohibited streaming of movies or sports, browsing social media, etc. Due to in my upcoming business all employees will operating on the company’s internal nets or using the company’s computers, therefore, possibilities of those behaviors might arrive. With device use policies, I hope to discourage the employees and make them away from these kinds of activities.
