            A day out with family boosts up the energies and enables to have quality time together. A little planning and budgeting process can make a huge difference and can make more chances of family activities. The present work is accomplished as a guide to take the planning seriously and to have adequate outing plans. Owning or renting a car for a number of millennial families is often considered as a pipe dream and the reason is a hidden cost for the taxes and upkeep. In the present work, the planning and budgeting are to go with the family to watch the ceremony of the Olympic torch that will be lit for the Sochi winter games in the coming Friday. All the soccer world is waiting passionately to have coverage of Brazil in the summer for the upcoming event of FIFA world cup. The list of necessary things along with budgets is developed. Unfortunately, most of the events were not set in the budget to watch. But luckily, all the family members will be able to join the event and it will be more affordable.

            Sticking at home with the family event in case of running sporting events induces negative impact on learning abilities but if the plan is developed then it should look for all the possible ways to save the money and expenses. The planning in the present work is to attend the event of the Olympic torch that will be lit for the Sochi winter games in the upcoming Friday. The budget will include the cost of all facilities, food, travel expenses such as ticket pricing. The present plan to have a visited for the event of Olympic torch lit will perhaps one weeknight with the basketball players. In the event there will be the number of sessions therefore, the matchup can be higher and bigger determining factor for the selected day.             I have made the budget of the round trip of the Olympic torch lit event and the most appropriate hotel to stay for one night is Europa hotel, Olympia. The hotel is only 600 m away from the venue. Although the early online booking is a non-refundable offer, it provides a discount of 20% for the online reservation. The cost of living one night with 20 % discount becomes 71.20 euro. The online reservation facility is provided on the website where the discount is valid only for the full prepayment and other reservations are not refundable. Fuel consumption estimation of Sporting event

            The distance between hotel and venue is only 600 m and it will require a minimum consumption of fuel. Even the hotel is at walking distance from the selected venue but still, I will prefer to get a rental car to facilitate the family members. The estimated fuel consumption is 0.25 litters for a round trip. The family requires only enough place to adjust all the members in the car. The most important consideration for the tour is to take short walks in streets, easy and comfortable beds for my parents and soft seats of car so it will not induce impact on muscle problem of my mother. The car should be soft enough. Besides being comfortable and the rent of car, there are no other factors to be considered. The rent of the selected car should be according to my budget plan. I have mentioned $ 500 for rent of the car. $ 100 for the fuel consumption of the car. The whole car tour will be $ 600 approximately.

            The prices of tickets and food are provided online on the websites. The important factor is to identify and evaluate the cost of each service before getting there. Many organizations offer tickets, drinks, hot dogs and parking for a family of six members at a reasonable price. The facilities they provide are not the best seats but in actual, family time and the atmosphere of the event counts more instead of the cost of the services. I have made a backup plan so in case if I get some issues in this plan I will switch to the other preferable option. The premier events and the regular season games of Olympic provide hundreds of tickets and sometimes people may be looking for a better option to get rid of their tickets because they are not going to use them. I will prefer to reach them and will find the tickets for my family members below face value. I will contact season ticket holder though some personal network and will get the tickets at discount.

Tour plan and food of Sporting event

            The plan is to spend maximum time in wandering around in Greece and the best solution is to leave the home early in the morning of Saturday and then return back on Sunday. After discussing with parents, I designed one nice restaurant meal and then others will be casual dining and fast food that can be preferred on the basis of choice of siblings or hotel food service. The food cost in ordinary restaurants is estimated at $ 700 and one nice meal at the expensive restaurant will be approximately $ 900. In the cost of food, the taxes and tips are also included. The estimate of cost for the two breakfasts, two lunches, and one nice dinner are listed below in table 2.

Justification for parents of Sporting event

            It was the heartiest desire of all our family members and my siblings to attend the Olympic torch lit event in Greece. On your recommendation, I have estimated the cost of all the tour and expenses including travel expenses, food expense, rental car expense, fuel consumption, room cost for the living and other minor expenses are excluded from the budget. The program will go according to the estimated budget and hopefully, we will have quality time there.  The budget states that it would be an economical trip and some of the events will be attended and rest of them are eliminated due to cost issues and time issues because we are allowed have only one day tour. It is supposed that whole tour will be best tour of our family and it will be a good part of our memories too.
