This
can be explained in simple words that, it is a mixture or fusion of Mendelian
genetics with Darwinian evolution then in result a new theory has been formed
named as unified Theory of evolution. This theory also referred to the
Neo-Darwinian theory. This theory was developed by number of evolutionary
scientists in the era of 1930 and 1940.
There
are many key scientists that played a major role in the modern evolutionary
synthesis. R.A fisher and Sewall Wright
was involved in making theory about population genetics. Theodosius Dobzhansky
was involved in deep studies about the natural population of fruity
Drosophilia. The major role played in this theory by R.A fisher. He lived in
England and started working on population genetics in London. His contribution in the field of evolution was
natural selection about the population genetics. He worked on the linkage of
genes that has been taken from different traits and then according to their
genes he had developed different methods of multivariate analysis for dealing
with these type of questions. He started to prove his theory by designing plant
breeding experiments. Through this he had got much information about the plants
breeding in less number of time (Huneman & Walsh, 2017).
