On
interstate 57 near south suburban County Club Hills, a 37 years old man was
killed with a crash. The crash happened with a semitrailer.
According
to Illinois State Police, a man from Kentucky with 44 years age was traveling
on his truck south in the far lane of Flossmoor Road, and traffic was said to
be slow at that point. When he shifted his truck to the traffic’s far left
lane, his truck was in front of the Dodge driven by Darnell L. Russell Jr. The
Dodge driver could not slow down his vehicle and crashed into the semitrailer. It
was told by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office and state police that
Russell was dead on the spot. This death was ruled as an accident. The
diversion was made for southbound lanes of I-57 as police was investigating the
place of accident; however no alcohol or drug use was suspected to be a factor
in this accident.
Citywide Shooting Resulted in 3
Murders and 9 Injured this Weekend

According
to report, nine people were injured whereas three people were killed this
weekend during citywide shootings.
On
the Southwest Side, in the clearing neighborhood area, a man odd 21 years old
killed during this shooting. It was reported that the man was arguing with two
other men, when shooting opened as one of the men opened fire. It was told by
the Chicago police that man was shot in the head from point blank range &
found dead at the spot. The family of the 21 year old man is in awful condition
to hear this news.
Daniel
L. Erskin, a 22-year-old man was killed on Saturday night inside the hallway. It
was found that he violated the protection order. According to Chicago police, a
52 years old woman wounded him, when she fired a bullet in his left shoulder,
which reasoned to be his cause of death. Another man was killed Noble Square
neighborhood on the North Side in the shooting incidence.
7 Injured including 2 Children in a
Crash

It
was reported that a crash incident happened on the Southwest Side, in the
Ashburn neighborhood early in the morning leaving 7 people injured.
According
to the reports by the Chicago police, the crash incident happened early in the
morning at 6 a.m. when two vehicles crashed into each other at the intersection
of 79th Street. The children were badly injured in the crash and they were
immediately taken to the Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, and as per the
spokesperson of the Chicago Fire Department, the condition of the children was
serious and critical. However, the satisfying news also came by telling that
other 4 persons were not seriously injured rather their injuries were minor,
and they were taken to Christ and Hold Cross hospitals for the emergency
treatment. According to the police & fire department, the mother of kids
was also amongst the injured persons in this crash between two vehicles.
Woman Kills a Robber during a Robbery
Attempt on Far South Side

robbery attempt was made on Tuesyday morning, when a 19 years old man tried to
rob a woman with his weapon, but women had concealed-carry permit and killed
the man with his weapon.
According
to the Cook County medical examiner’s office and the Chicago police, a woman
was approached by the man named Laavion
Goings at 5.45 a.m. in the 500 block of West 103rd Street. The reports said
that man showed a weapon to the women for his robbery attempt. But luckily, the
woman was concealed carry holder, so she took her weapon out, and instantly
fired at the man. The authorities said that man was shot in the neck and he
immediately ran out of the scene, but later found dead a block away. The
shooting incident is under the investigation, and woman has not been charged
for anything yet as police is still in the investigation process, and cannot
come to a conclusion.
A 9
Years Old Boy Found Missing from Englewood

A
report was released on Tuesday evening, which revealed that a 9 years old boy
found to be missing from Englewood, as he did not return home after his school.
The boy was studying in a nearby elementary school.
According
to the Chicago police, the name of the boy is Michael Campbell, and it was
reported that at 3 p.m., he was last seen in the Harvard Elementary School,
when his classes ended. The report of his missing was made from his mother at
8.30 p.m. where she had spoken to reporters and found to be in awful condition
pleading for the return of his son.
The
father of the missing boy told reporters that Michael was last seen in the
security surveillance cameras of the school, when he left the school. The later
investigation report revealed that boy went to his friend’s home for gunfire. The
home where boy stayed at night did not had any phone. The boy’s son thanked
Chicago Police & Media along with God for finding his son back.
71 years Old Man from Chicago Dies
while Skiing

A
71 years old man named William Hass from Chicago was found dead after the
skiing in the Colorado area. The man was reported to be a skier as per the authorities.
As
per the reports released the Summit Daily, the man belonged to Northbrook area,
and he was found to be unconscious on Monday afternoon in Breckenridge run. The
reports said that apparently, there was no evidence to say that the man crashed
into anything during his skiing activity. As per the Summit County Coroner
Regan Wood, the man did not face any accidental situation; rather he appears to
be killed from natural causes.
In
this season, it is reported to be a fourth death in Summit County’s ski slopes.
This is third death in the area, which had the medical problems behind. Other
than the Summit Colony, three other deaths have been reported in the Colorado.
The Bill “House Resolution 420” to
end the Marijuana Prohibition from Federal Government

end the cannabis prohibition by federal government was introduced trough a Bill
on Wednesday, when a House Resolution 420 was made by an Oregan Democrat named Rep.
Earl Blumenaer.
The
bill sponsor Rep. Earl Blumenauer said that bill number looks to be a cheeky
one, but overall issue needs to be considered serious. A statement was released
by him that “Our federal marijuana laws
are outdated, out of touch and have negatively impacted countless lives.”
The
bill was submitted dubbing the law with “Regulate Marijuana like Alcohol Act”,
and given proposal will try to remove weed from the federal Controlled
Substances Act’s list and a new regulatory system will be handled by the Bureau
of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). A Gallup survey was
conducted last year in October, which revealed that cannabis legalization has
been supported by the 66% Americans. In coming weeks, a new bill is going to be
proposed by Illinois Democrats to give legalization to recreational pot.
The illegal Use of Rented Warehouse

The
city attorneys have asked a judge to give permission of inspection to the
inspectors and give them full access so that they can investigate the warehouse
rented by R. Kelly. The warehouse is situated at the Near West Side, and it has
been alleged that two story building of this warehouse is being used illegally
for the studio as well as residence purposes.
It
was said by the city lawyers that as per the building zoning, the recording studio
of Kelly is illegal. The allegation was also made that even studio was made without
getting any prior permission. Moreover, the warehouse building is also being
used as residential building. They also said that a Planned Manufacturing
District is the zoning for the property at 219 N. Justine and this zoning means
that building can be used for commercial purposes. On Thursday, the complaint
was filed by the city’s attorneys, and Judge Patrice Ball-Reed from Cook County
Circuit Court has said that case arguments will be heard from Friday.
Metra SouthWest Service Delayed due
to Derailment of Freight Train

The
reports have come that a freight train has been derailed on the South Side,
which has caused disruption for the Metra SouthWest Service, as it has been
delayed. Various trains of Metra SouuthWest Service were delayed or cancelled
due to freight derailment.
This
delay started from Friday evening, which is still there. According to report
released by Metra Service that freight train derailment incident happened at 5
p.m. near 40th Street. A Metra train was to leave at 6.58 p.m. to
reach Union Station, but this train was cancelled by Metra. However, an
alternative route was suggested for the commuters. They were asked to use Heritage
Corridor lines and the Rock Island lines. The commuters have to look for these
alternatives, until the track is back on work after removing the freight.

whole incident is that there were no reported injuries due to freight
derailment.
The Judge Ordered R. Kelly to allow
inspection of its Rented Warehouse

The
city’s attorneys request to inspect R. Kelly’s rented warehouse has been granted
by the judge from Cook County. The Judge has ordered that R. Kelly should allow
inspectors entry into its rented warehouse.
The
decision was made on Friday; however it is important to mention here that
inspection cannot be done before coming Wednesday. The representative of R.
Kelly named Melvin Sims asked the judge to grant 30 days for proper compliance.
But the issue is that Owner Company revealed they don’t have any access to the
house.
The
allegation on R. Kelly’s rented warehouse is that it is illegally using the
warehouse for studio as well as residential purposes. An inspector from the buildings
department said that windows of the warehouse are sealed, and doorways are also
replaced, which means that rented warehouse is being used for some other
purposes.
