Sleep
deprivation can be defined as in simple words that the person is unable to get
insufficient sleep. That condition in which the person is unable to get enough
sleep, and due to this you face a lot of
issues in the morning for the whole day. This condition occurs when the person
is unable to complete sleep. Many college students are struggling with this
problem. This is because an increase in different technologies likes mobile phones, computers, and laptops. These students lived in hostels or
separate rooms. This problem is common among many teenagers because of this
technology. Due to this many students are unable to give proper attention in
class and also unable to concentrate on
regular studies. Due to sleep deprivation,
their brain becomes slower and also
unable to perform regular physical activities. However, due to lack of sleep, the person may lead towards depression and anxiety. These students are not
mentally present in their classes. They stay awake till late at night and play
with their electronic gadgets. This is
one of the main reasons for sleep
deprivation. Some college students talked with their loved ones the whole night and affected by this condition (Christian & Ellis,
2011)
