and start to see some motivational videos. Some others might try to check out
motivational quotes about hurdles. For sure, they can boost your ability to
jump over the hurdle but it doesn’t last for a long period.
Just try and watch a motivational video and start working.
You might be able to solve the first problem but as soon as the difficulty is
increased, you will find your motivation disappearing. The situation is
completely different when you are motivating yourself.
You might think that you cannot motivate yourself but every
new thing appears to be tough at first. However, motivating yourself is not
only easier but it also lasts longer compared to when you are watching videos
or reading motivational quotes. The key to self-motivation is to think about
the reason why you even thought about taking this approach. There must be some
reason why you thought that this direction is the most suitable for me.
For instance, if you are doing a job and you are unable to
motivate yourself, you should think about why you joined in the first place. Maybe
you wanted to make sure that you are not living in poverty again or maybe you aim
to deliver a better lifestyle to your family. Believe me, this approach is the
most effective because it evokes the emotions which are deeper than the ones
which are evoked by motivational videos.
Then think about what you have already been through to get to
this stage and how it would be like to go back now. It will drive you enough to
complete the task.
