In this report, we
summarized the result that we obtained with the help of Matlab as well as
excel. For attaining UA simulations
write the code in the command window as well as calculating the solar energy by
using the specific temperature of the month. Selecting one of the months as in
coding all is explained and all the required data is written in getting the
result of UA simulations. After that written another code in Matlab by using
the data that is present in the excel file all the points are given and we set
equal to each other. After that heat loss equation is written and we get the
result for heat loss.
From the excel file, I
want to summarize some important points that I have seen while performing the
experiment. All the values from Run 1 to Run 9 are written with their
x-location. T-outdoor, T-water as well as T-bldg values of Run 1 to Run 9.
These values are calculated by performing the experiment. So we calculate these
values and use both in excel and Matlab to acquire the desired result. With the
help of these values, we can draw the graph with a single click in excel file.
As you see in the excel spreadsheet file the graph of 9 Run between the
temperature and diameter graph show and named as temperature profile through
the wall.
It will be also observed
that there are different values for concrete and insulation the value of k is
1.4 and pressure constant is 880 J/kg-K and the value of who is 2300 these are
the concrete values. And for insulation the value of k is equal to 0.045
pressure coefficient is 1500 as well as the value of who is 20. These are the
points with the help of them the graph value is calculated accurately. Therefore
with the help of both Matlab and excel software, we acquired the desired result
of the experiment. And it's very helpful for understanding the temperature
through the wall with this software. The external and water temperature varies
the thermal wall. The heat flux, as well as UA values of the wall, can be
determined with these simulations runs that is acquired through Matlab.
