Business is going to very important part of life of human being. All the products or services that we are going to used are the result of doing business. Business is the basic need of the world. Everything that is going to use in the daily routine is transformed due to business. There are many kinds of business in the world. Some people are doing business of cloths, some belong to cosmetics business, some produce food items, some are manufacturing furniture, some making the playing items and many others so in short there are thousands of businesses that can be run smoothly in the world and every person who have some skills and abilities are going to be the part of any business. Because no any single person can run the business, many people required at different level to perform different tasks in the business. So according to skills, abilities and qualification, people are going to appointed in the business and assign their tasks according to their capabilities. So, group of people can run business in most effective manner and in factories or production units also lot of people work just like offices.

Business can not only run easily. Proper planning and management must be required to run business successfully. Planning is the most important part of every business because for this the detail working and complete research must be required. Furthermore, the planning is going to start at the first step of business. Planning tells us what to do, how to do, who will do this and in what direction and what are the things required in accomplish our tasks. So basically, the planning is the core activity of every business. When we are going to start the business then we have to very first set our goals and targets or objectives. And according to this we have to prepare all the in-depth processes or procedures of the business. And for this proper vision and mission of the business must be determine at first level. Planning include all those elements in the business as there are many steps and processes are going to involve in doing to business. The most important part of the business is to determine its goals and targets

The main reasons of behind running the business are its goal. Goal explain that what are the long-term targets of the organization and what it is going to obtain in the future. Because no any business can be run without the setting of goals. Proper team of management and all employees are going to work on achieving these goals and these goals are the main results of the business. There are normally two type of goals are present in the business. The short-term goals and long-term goals. Short term goals are consisting of few years of sometime on few months and they can be achievable for the organization is easy. The long-term goals are depending on many years more than 3 years so they are required a large amount of time in achieving these targets. There are many issues raises with the short- and long-term goals but the fact is that goals are the main core of business and without setting goals no any business can achieve the profit or do working.

Short term goals are the goals that are easily achievable and attainable in few years or also in few months. It is mostly depending on the product or services of the organization that what is going to produce and when it is available for customers. These goals are the target of organization and they will generate more and more profit by fulfill these short-term goals. Company also determines its capabilities through these short-term goals. But with many benefits the drawbacks also going to attach with these goals. Company may not achieve that target in the minimum time and not attain the short-term goals then the reputation for the business also effected in negative direction.  There are many issues arise when the company is obtaining the short-term goals that are the company only obtain short term goals, it can only deal with short term projects to achieve short term goals and many others. But it’s not true because it depends on the requirement of the client and project and that will be complete in the few years or in few months. The long-term goals also have their own specifications.

Long term goals are beneficial for the business in long term. In long terms this will provide benefit to the business but during these goals also many problems are going to face like the many government policies also going to change, the exchange rate, the currency rate, the economy policies, etc these all are the factors that going to effect the results of the long term goals of the business in both directions. But it depends on the policies and strategies used by the business that how much procedures are going to be flexible in the long-term goals to obtain the required result of the business.

According to business requirement and its targets and its procedures the long and short term goals are going to determine for the business and also explain that how much this will give benefit to the business because these goals are simply belong to the business and without setting the goals no any business can run, these goals also give targets to the management of the business to work in most effective manner.

The complete staff of business including upper and lower level employees are going to work for obtaining these goals for the business because the purpose of doing business is depend on these goals and also the profitability and its existence depend on these goals because if the business can achieve its short and long term goals in effective way then it can beat the market and can e exist in hundreds of years.

The speaker is going to use critical discussion approach related to production of different elements through business. He also discusses the involvement of different type of businesses and their importance in the life of audience.

Speaker also elaborates the capabilities of people that they are going to explore in the business field.  In all level of business different people are going to involve in this making the business successful and also in help them in running the business in most effective manner.

Planning give the direction of the business and also determine its path of working so every business has to follow that path and also elaborate the importance of planning and management in the life of business as audience is going to realize that planning and effective management is the life of business.

Here speaker use critical approach and apply this at business that the reason behind establishing the business must be the first approach. Reason of establishing define as goals and targets that are going to determine at the start of the business because all the people involving in the business must achieve that goals and they also work for this achievement.

In simple words the speaker tells audience that the business has two different type of goals that are profitable and helpful in expanding the business. The short-term goals and long-term goals.

The length of goals must be defining the nature of goals and also their importance in the life of business. There are also many problems face by the business in obtaining the goals of all level but goals is the main part of business because the aim of business life is completely depend on the goals of the business (Gibson).

Now speaker moves the attention of audience towards the short- and long-term goals explanation. Every goal has its own importance and that must be explain properly in the business of every one going to realize that the importance and its benefits in the business (Yilmaz). The image of business also very much depend on the achievement of goals as there are many factors belong to this issue because everyone is trying to achieve the target or goals and they are going to fail then this will prove that lot of lacks and weakness must be present in the management so they never obtain their goals and they also follow poor vision and mission of the business (Miller and Barbour).

The complete fault is belonging to the management and senior level of the business because with their poor planning the business have no ability to obtain its predetermined goals.

There are many projects that are including many years and the goals of the business also depend on these goals. In long term goals the business have to do strong and effective planning for accomplishing the targets because many issue may going to arise at different level that will  affect the working of the business and also work as hurdle in the path of business (Yilmaz). Different levels include economy, government or market levels. It’s the responsibility of the management of the business to develop such strategies and procedures that are overcome the give issues and they must be take special care while preparing these policies for running the business.

Speaker explain the audience the importance of long- and short-term goals and also explain that how much they are important for the business and how they can be obtainable in the business.

Basically speaker wants that the audience is going to aware with all the importance of business goals in the life of business and also explain and understand that how much goal achievement is going to be an important part of the business (Mindtools.com).

Speaker explain the concept of short and long term goals in the mind of audience and also tell them the business in incomplete without the goals because it will decide the direction of the business and also explain its management and staff that how we have to do our work because high quality results need high quality efforts. So for running business in long life this is very important to obtain it’s all type of goals according to market and business requirement because when the purpose of doing business is going to vanished then the reason of doing business also going to be finish and then business never run in long terms.
