Radio-frequency
identification or RFID is basically the usage of electromagnetic fields to
transference data. The regular use of this technology is to mechanically detect
the tags along with the related data which saved inside the tags. RFID has been
acknowledged as one of the exclusive identification devices in technology. In
addition to this, current enhancements for this device have been made to make
RFID tags to become more feasible for various usages in the business.
One of the companies that
have been using the RFID device is the famous Walt Disney. Walt Disney uses
RFID within its "MagicBand” which is one of Disney’s products that
includes sensors to allow the visitors in Disney World to swipe onto rides and
also able Disney to identify their location. “MagicBand” with RFID device was
introduced to the public on 7th January 2013.
Project evolution RFID

MagicBands were established together with
the MyMagic+ program as a technique to draw the completely different features
of the program organized. The idea of MagicBand arrived at the beginning of the
Next Generation Experience (then the name changed to MyMagic+), when one of the
initial five affiliates of the project, which is the business development VP
John Padgett, was on a long journey from Burbank, the Walt Disney Company's head
office, and Orlando, the site of Walt Disney World. That time, Padgett saw
a magnetic treatment wristband in a magazine, which appealed to relieve
painful muscles "while simultaneously improving one's golf swing." Along
with the project team, Padgett started to figure out the project of a wristband
encoded with "everything a guest might need—park tickets, photos, coupons, even
money." Later on, they shaped a temporary xBand (the initial name
for the MagicBand) by a velcro strip, a plastic lining, and also an RFID tag.
In 19th November 2016, an innovative
MagicBand named with MagicBand 2,
was introduced. The fresh design raises the dimension of the Mickey's head and
the electrical system part. This part, named with the Icon could be removed
from the wristband with a specific screwdriver and located in other bands or
other accessories like a key-chain.

For many past years, the radiofrequency technology
has been used in Walt Disney World Resort. both the RF cards and magic bands
use the same technology that allows the single touch to enter in the Disney
Resort hotel room and World Park of Disney. the parade and float control system
is used for customer services and laundry. these RF based cards have complete
access to FastPass+ attraction. the common technology used is to create an
amazing guest experience and to improve the services.
Disney World Resort system uses RF Technology
based devices that are designed, manufactured, and tested according to the
federal communication Commission regulations (FCC). magic bands or cards are
unique in their Technology and use authenticated technology to benefit the
customers. the cards and magic bands only contain code that is assigned
randomly but for the security purpose, the magic cards are linked with the
encrypted database.
the main objective of the present work is to
analyses the low-priced RFID devices used to track customer behavior in Walt
Disney World. the case study includes information about the tracked data by
using RFID devices. the magic cards used in Walt Disney authenticate
information about the user by using high radio frequency device and transmitter
that receives and sends radio frequency signals. a small antenna is also
attached to the magic band that enables the detection of short-range
touchpoints (Disneyworld. disney. go. com).
the whole system is efficient and working on the
basis of rules and regulations and the information about the customer or user
is limited related to his activity in Disney Park. the magic band of Disney can
also read long range distance of the user that improve the overall performance
of the park.
The information generated to date

The Walt Disney company invested
billion dollars on the development of this device they are even used to
demonstrate fresh thinking process for a lot of new devices is similar to that.
One of the major issues faced by the parents is to keep an eye on the activity
of the child. Under certain scenario, the use of Magic Bands in the
entertainment center job do A Remarkable job in finding the children. The
advantage of using RFID in the magic band still is to locate the location and
position of the user (Sites. psu. edu).
Basically, RFID is a two-way radio frequency
system that operates with a 2.4 GHz band spectrum. World Disney World used this
Band and RFID Technology for their privatized communication. All the
communication system tracks able. In fact, the magic band works in the
different condition for the safety of children. They can be used for crowd
controlling system and crowd congestion issues are resolved in Disney. The
entire monitoring system performs to reduce crowd and to increase the safety of
children by tracking their position.
Decisions made as a result of the information of

It is observed
that magic bands reduce the clutters and provide services according to the
expectation of the user. Disney uses invisible technology to keep its customers
comfortable with the services. It is also observed that Disney duplicated the
sense of seamless utility by using the bands (Forbes. com).
The current state of the
technology of Evaluate RFID in Data Mining
The information about the credit
card is attached to magic band, therefore, the designed system requires a pin
number to use magic. Disney world reserve the right to ask additional
verification for purchasing the card. Disney magic bands keep a lot of
information about the customer. In such a situation are the wrong person cannot
use magic band due to double verification, therefore, the financial data is
secure. The magic bands are interchangeable, and the information is registered
on the magic band, therefore, this technology is fungible.
The statistical analysis shows that
magic bands of Disney are getting more attention from the customers. The CEO of
Disney Bob Iger stated that a survey shows satisfaction of people with the
streamlined process of magic bands and RFID services in Disney. In 2013, the
magic bands attendance reached 19.3 million and in 2014 20.4 million visits
were recorded. This shows that the use of technology has enhanced the users and
customers. The Disney attendees trafficked the theme park with 1.8 million
guests on an annual basis. This was simply due to the revolutionary idea of
magic cards and the use of RFID technology (Mickeyblog. com).
Limitations of the technology of Evaluate RFID
in Data Mining
According to Disney, the batteries
of Magic bands based on RFID Technology are designed to last for 2 years. After
that, the efficiency and detection of Magic band, therefore, it is necessary to
link the experience account with the battery conditions. But even the lifetime
of a battery is two years it can be replaced with a new magic card by Disney
office. RF ID chips in magic bands work only for 30 feet distance, therefore,
it can Limit the usage and privilege of the activities. The sync up the process
of RFID chip inside the magic band may cause distortion in the detection.
Anticipation for the future of RFID in retaining
establishments
The use of RFID technology is a
cost-effective process to solve real-world business challenges. Radio frequency
identification technology is based upon transmitting data through the
electromagnetic field from one RF ID tag to the other and provide real-time
tracking data. These RF ID chips can be used to locate and identify the
objects. The tags used in the chips Record Information electronically and
collect energy from nearby RF-ID reader. The computer program of RF ID is
frequently used to locate the position of chips and uses necessary information
of the user. The RF ID applications are also in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical
market. Some countries with the lowest paid hourly wage workers are using RF ID
check out. The implementation of RF ID in the hospital supply chain is
providing smooth technology to facilitate the services and track the necessary
information.
