It was a pleasure for me to receive your invitation to the residency program offered at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center. I am a young doctor with a keen interest in psychology and pediatrician. As a dedicated and self-motivated person, I have worked for the betterment of the community by providing the solution to the fetal alcohol syndrome in adolescents. I have developed goals to specialize in Adolescent medicine after completing residency to serve humanity in a better way.

During my studies, I also actively participated in several co-curricular activities with the purpose to maximize my learning and understanding about the pediatrician. I attended international conferences and seminars organized by local universities on the topic of my interest such as stress management, syndrome prevention, and modification of human behavior. While researching on health and hospital pediatric residency program I collected information about the affiliations of Woodhull pediatric residency program with the New York University Langone Hospital, Downstate University Hospital, and Jersey share medical center. I am interested to participate in this residency program as it can increase my knowledge and understanding about pediatric and parenting.

My goal of attending this program is to get primary care education with exposure to several kinds of cases concerning with clinical care and community support in overcoming mental health issues. Although the offered residency program is related to the education with elective and tertiary care experiences at your academic affiliates thus it will provide me support to learn new experiences and be more capable to implement my previously learned knowledge in the community.
