As
a manager, I have to make sure that the employees of my enterprise are
competent and willing to take on every challenge. In order to make them IT
proficient, I would first analyze just how good they are when it comes to
handling technology and perform with it. Once I know the time and efforts that
increasing the proficiency of employees will take, I will build a training
strategy. The training strategy will include the opinions of every worker and
understand just what they think about it. While introducing them to the new
aspects of technology, I will set objectives which they will have to reach.
This way, I will know if the training is proving to be effective for workers or
not. Once I know that employees can give tests, I will conduct them and analyze
the results. Once the gaps are spotted, I will correct them and hone the skills
of employees (Awang, Ismail and Noor).
