Each
engineer must grip the paramount of
safety, health, and welfare of the public and attempt to observe with the
principles of a viable department in the
accomplishment of their professional duties. In case if engineers found out
that a firm or another person could violate
any board mentioned in Canon 1, they should deliver the information by writing
it to the appropriate authority and later
on they also have to associate the proper
authority in this case as well.
CANON 2. SERVICE WITH COMPETENCE
Engineers
should only accept the appointment in the field where they are capable or have
experience in it. The appointment which they
don’t have enough experience in it could be received during education with the
support from the adequate consultants to associate them.
CANON 3. ISSUE TRUE STATEMENTS
Engineers
must address the public comments which they will find on the field with a
detached and honest presence.
CANON 4. ACT AS A FAITHFUL AGENT
Engineers
should perform in professional objects for each client or employer as their
faithful agents or guardians, and must strictly prevent the concern issues.
CANON 5. REPUTATION BY MERIT
Engineers
should create their professional
privilege on the merit of the duty service that they have and never try to
challenge the others illegally.
CANON 6. UPHOLD PROFESSIONAL HONOR
Engineers
must perform in an excellent presentation
to uphold and improve the honor, purity, and morality of the engineering career
and should not tolerate corruption,
ransom, and blackmail.
CANON 7. CONTINUE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Engineers
should increase the growth of professional personality through their
profession, and support for the engineers which are under their guidance to
develop their professional character.
CANON 8. TREAT ALL PERSONS FAIRLY
Engineers
should treat every person that engage
with their career fairly in any circumstances, give equal support for them without seeing
their gender, race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, age,
sexual orientation, ailment, political connection, family, marital, or economic
status.
