The
brain computing interface is the well known emerging technology and its use
have become the most important in the pertinent industry. All of the industries
are keening to avail it benefits for making the lives of the individual much
easier. The forum of pertinent industry that is selected for assessing the
implementation of the BCI is the home automation. The study will explore the
use of the BCI in the home automation. Domestics or home automation is referred
as the building automation for the homing sectors and it is also known as the smart
houses or smart homes in general words.
The
climate, appliances, lighting and entertainments systems are controlled by the
home automation systems. The home security is also includes in this for example
alarm systems and access control. The
home automation is completely revolutionized by using the BCI and the various types
of the waves are produced by the brain to control the functions of the home
appliances (Harish Verlekar, 2016). This paper proposes
the control mechanism for home automation that are based on the BCI (brain
computing interface) and it can easily applied in the platform of the smart
homes “domus” for evaluating the user’s potential interest related to the BCI
at home.
