History of cloud computing

            The cloud computing history starts from the last decades as way back in the 1960s at the time when the particular type of computer was suggested as “intergalactic computer network”. The technology has to serve in recent years to shake up both landscape of suppliers and enterprise IT. When the history of cloud computing is suggested and decided the most important question arises in our mind that is about the invention of cloud computing as who have invented cloud computing. The cloud computing has been developed by using the number of phases that are contained on the utility computing and grid. It also includes the software as service and the application service provision. In the 1960s, the overarching the concept of the computing delivering resources by the global network that is rooted.

The 1960s and beyond

            The features and the concepts of the cloud computing attributed by the famous computer scientist named as John McCarthy who had proposed the new and innovative idea for the computation that is being delivered as the public deliver which is most similar to the services of the bureau which is back to the timing of the 1960s. 

            Cloud computing has been started to develo0ing from the 1960s along with the serial numbers of lines with the Web2.0, which is also referred to as the being most recent evolution. Therefore the significant bandwidth has been offered by the start of the internet in the 1990s meanwhile the cloud computing has been considered as the late developer for the numerous masses. In 1999 according to the history of the cloud computing the most initial millstone was the arrival of Salesforce.com by which the concepts have been pioneered for delivering the application of enterprises through the simple website (Jamsa, 2011).

            In 2009 another most important big millstone was coming in SaaS as its stride has been hit by its Web 2.0 as well as Google and serval other software are started for offering the browsers based application and enterprises by using the various services just like as Google App.  It has been renamed as G Suite. As a force to be calculated along with it, the Microsoft has also emerged just like as the all of the firms has to look for relating its hold on the application of the business market through going head to head along with the G suite over the years with its own cloud-based Office 365 offering.

            In the cloud market development, another important milestone has been coming in 2002 that is generally known as the emergence of Amazon Web Services. The suit for the services of the cloud-based infrastructure has been provided by the company that is contained on human intelligence, storage even computation by Amazon Mechanical Turk.

            After that Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) has been launched by Amazon in 2006 and it is used as the commercial web services which are usually allowed to the individuals and small companies for rent out the computers that are required to run their computer applications (Antonopoulos & Gillam, 2010).
