Is the government an external force, an internal force, a stakeholder or all of the above?

Category: Business & Management Paper Type: Online Exam | Quiz | Test Reference: HARVARD Words: 600

Ans. Government is considered as the main part of every business and society because without governing body no any society or business can run in the right direction and a proper manner because people or employee has no fear, they can never be honest with their duties or people. Government is a group of people who run all the sector of society or business properly and set some rules and regulations for all the people for completing their tasks. Without government no, society or business can run. So the government is considering a major part of the business because every person who is living in society or work in an organisation, the government is responsible for them (Gregorio D'Agostino).

Government has to take all the responsibilities of their people, and he must provide all the facilities to its people. Government is performing the different role at the same time as it is an external factor, sometimes it is going to be internal factors and some time is work as a stakeholder who keeps complete check and balance of the internal affairs of the organisation and wants to get all the report about tasks and events. Internal factor means that business is set on such terms and conditions that are set by the government and business has to agree with the rules and regulation of the government that they set for production or any business. It means the basis is ever business explain by the government and without its permission and agreement, no business can run in the society.

Then the government is also playing a role of external factors as it affects the economy of the country and set certain rules and regulations at the national and international level that affect the distribution of the business and also should be managed with the business rules and its working criteria. Then the government is also performing as stakeholder which means that as government set some rules and limitations for every business and society so government also want required results and keep proper check and balance on the transactions and functions of the business to check that whether business follow its rules or not and provide the required benefit to the society or not. So it can be said that government is performing many types of functions at the same time and also meet all its responsibilities in all roles because every role has its own responsibilities and for business and society the role of government is considered very important. Government is the blood of every organization and society and without government, no business can run its activities or perform any task (Thai.).
