How journalist activities helped to recognize the real or potential impact of stakeholder biases and personal biases

Category: Business & Management Paper Type: Online Exam | Quiz | Test Reference: HARVARD Words: 600

Journalist activities are those that help in determining what is the position of the organisation in real terms and what is the potential profit that they generate by utilizing their resources and skills. The stakeholder of the business is those who proper keep checks and balance on the transaction of the business and also want to know about the performance of the organization and its results because their main concern is the profit of the organization. The journalist activities determine all the internal affairs that occur in the organization and also explain the environment of the business and their role in different aspects. Sometimes the stakeholders and the owner of the business give the biases decision regarding the business, but in some situations, different decision also consider that arise a conflict between them. The conflict with the stakeholders and the owner also presented on the media that show that the internal system of the business is going to be weak due to conflicts, the public also considers that business is going to down and it is market worth and value also going to decrease.

Media is the best platform to promote the business and its functions, and if any issue arises, media also prominent that issue related to business and any reason behind that issue. The market shares of the business also effected with the public opinion because people follow the rumours that come inside the organisation and if any problem may appear that affect the market worth of the organisation. These also collectively affect the decision making policies of the business because if the external response of the organisation is going to weak, then management of the business has to make a strong decision that saves its reputation and makes it's working and system strong and manageable. Journaling activities provide all the news related to internal and external affairs of the organisation and that will affect the performance of the organisation.

The most important fact that I came to understand after reading the activities was that business and society are interconnected. They are linked with each other in such a way when an important decision is taken by a party, and it has an immediate effect on the other party. There are other important concepts as well, which I have come to understand better. For instance, my ideas about conflicting stakeholder interests are clarified after undergoing these activities. Now, it is clear to me just why ethics and corporate social responsibility matter so much to organisations (Turku).
