In
Australia, an extensive and multimodal transportation system serves the state of
New South Wales. The process is based on the government agency responsible for
the development of network operations and development of the transportation
system in New South Wales. During the 20th century, the railway
system was running under the state-owned entity of New South Wales Government
railways. The whole system was linked with the running system of Transport of
New South Wales (TfNSW), Sydney Trains, and NSW TrainLink. The service
provision was based on the responsibility of owners and freight services were
working under the operation of state government until 2001 through FreightCorp (Transport. nsw. gov. au). The business was
provided to the Pacific National. Since 2003, the interstate function of Hunter
Valley rail corridors was different and dedicate metropolitan freight lines.
The Australian Rail Track Corporation is controlling major freight lines of
Sydney (Uts. edu. au). The rest of the network was maintained
outside of the Sydney under the contract of John Holland. The network services
are designed to provide services by the drivers and operators through the
telephone and internet booking services. Sydney trains started working on July
1, 2013, in the largest city of Australia, Sydney. The extensive network
provides services to the customers and passengers. The passenger system
includes an extensive network of the suburban railway system that operates in
Sydney (Youssef and McKinnon).
