This research was strongly
influenced by qualitative principles (Giddings, 2006). For failures, causes
were presented by the literature review which clarified the criteria for this
study. The study starts with a hypothesis which will be invalidated or
authenticated based on analyzing phenomena and observations (Easterby-Smith et
al., 2012). In accordance with Popper, "information cannot be justified or
proven but only refuted" (Popper, 2002). That is why, with the presence of
negative evidence, it is possible to refuse the reasoning. The collected
evidence is stated by the reasoning only. Hence, two conditions must be met by explanations:
First of all, there is no space for logical contradictions; second, they have
to be consistent with the facts which are observed from the interviews of
participants (Neumann, 2000).

First of all, the motivation
and target of study along with complication and management fields were simplified:
methods and standards were explained by reviewing the present literature.
Moving on, one of the explained standards of PM for controlling complication
was chosen, fitting the objective of this study. Then an analysis was conducted
to investigate the best dealing with a specific complication in PM. Lastly,
next steps and analysis’s conclusion were explained.
