It is shown by literature that
project management in the past was carried out in a simpler way in than how it
is performed at present. Projects, at present, are developed in a difficult
environment and are impacted by the changing factors.
In the literature, those
change factors were evaluated that addressed complications. Moreover,
management, impact, and origin of complication were studied.
Actually, it is important now
to study how complications can be handled properly. Can complication projects
still be handled with traditional PM? Does integration of an actual standard of
PM and managing complication exist? In case there is no combination, can an
alternative solution be developed for manoeuvring securely through
complications? The negative aspects and influences in handling complication
have to be explained for providing an awareness of complications. To help
amateur inexperienced managers, new issues have to be explored and shown.
Basic principles are developed
for enabling project managers to determine and recognize how complications
could influence projects. Complication indicators are outlined and specific
styles of management for manoeuvring through complicated situations. In the
last stage, the adaption of the existing management of the project was studied.
The literature review served
to identify the research’s five levels. Through interviewing experienced
managers of the project, it was attempted to answer the research questions.

Question: How is the execution
of PM influenced by complication (theory)?
Complications are often
discussed by project managers in projects. The location and type of
complication are demonstrated by this research. The demonstration guide is a
chosen standard of project management.
The objective is all about
examining cognition of effect of complication theory on visualization,
treatment, and appearance of the most suitable standard of project management
(chosen on the basis of distribution and norms of use, available, and
membership criteria).

Question: What are the
complication enablers in project management?
There are some minor
complications in the project management and this literature is mentioning some
important difficulties in the process. This is because there are a lot of
complications along with different difficulties. Moreover, the main link to
project management is unable to be found. It can be seen that there are some
expert managers that have the ability to estimate enablers with the help of
their experience. But on the other hand, the beginner project managers are
unable to estimate it due to lack of experience. They have to depend on the
expert project managers to estimate enablers of complication.
The real target is to make a
link between project management and complication, and then according to this
link, they have to provide dealing options. These project managers are involved
in questions related to complication enablers in project management and then
evaluate it with researchers.

Question: How does project
management deal with a complication?
It is extremely difficult for
the project manager to deal with such complications. According to standard
project management, there are different processes involved in the assignment of
a single enabler. Through this, it will become extremely easy to outline the
weakness of each process inside the project management standards. All of these
are generated in the form of cluster.
The main aim is to demonstrate
and connect these difficulties in a simple model. But there is one problem,
there is non-predictability in the project management processes and their
processes become slower. Then after this, the proper model is developed with
the help of evaluated inputs from different participants, using this, project
managers are able to locate difficulty in the project and are able to estimate
the influence. The expert project managers are able to predict the possible
complication in the project.

Question: What is the scope
for possible modifications in the chosen PM standard for managing complication?
The main scope of the work is
that according to the basic standards of project management, how project
complication is managed easily without any difficulty. Also, identify new
methods for managing these important complications of project management. It
can be seen that these new methods are extracted from the management literature
of complication. These methods are applied by different project managers in
completing their projects. But the problem is that these methods are not
mentioned in the project management standard and also not in the literature for
complication.
According to this problem, the
target is to enable the proper account of the methods for the treatment of
complication in the selected project management standard and then according to
that, explain their applications in practice.

Question: Are there additional
methods to those mentioned in the chosen PM standard for the management of
complication?
There are some statements in
the literature of complication that are not correct so it is extremely
difficult to judge whether project management standards are satisfied or not.
The project managers are involved in explaining their viewpoint in detail for
the adoption of current standards of project management. But according to the
proposed outcome of the project, there is no modification in the project
management standard.
