According to the research findings, majority of research participants
including more than 60 percent participants of interview supported the actual
PMI standard sufficient for handling complication and almost 50 percent
supported the idea to present a separate chapter in PMI for complication handling.
This must be reflected. Participants who supported the idea that PMI standards
are sufficient, they also appreciate more advice related to the safety in
complicated situations of maneuver projects. Structured chapter indications can
be inferred from the interviews.
Considering the above-mentioned answers of participants, it is clear
that complication can be handled satisfactorily while on the other hand, they
also require sperate chapters in PMI standards. Considering complication as a
trending state of affair, we can handle it with PMI. Somehow, general standards
should not be generated to overcome complications. According to the readers'
attention on complication, notes should be integrated into standards. The
multitude of factors have been inherent in complication and could be addressed
by a separate book. Somehow, complication cannot be recommended to standardize
in project management.
The traditional standards of PM, in studies, are considered effective
and valid. As Hass (2009) explains Gary Gingrich reinforces it as, “… the study
of complication but doesn’t yield many answers, at least not how we have tried
to describe the globe and forecast its events ever since the start of
Scientific Revolution. How it yields is a new manner of thinking and contemplating
the globe...” In addition, their new release, “Navigating Complication” was not
integrated by PMI into the standard that is recognized worldwide. It was worth
generating another book about complication management to them (Project
Management Institute, 2014).
Overall, literature and interviews indicated that present standards for
the management of projects are considered authentic. The PMBoK V5 as a PMI
standard and PMBoK V4 handle complication in a satisfactory manner. As required
in the interview, an introduction of a separate and new chapter for
complication was indicated. It mustn't be incorporated into standard since it
is not possible to standardize complication management (Hass, 2009). Inside the
standards of PM, additional advisories could be the cause of confusion. The
mutual necessity regarding an individual guide to handle different
complications was evident and this is also suggested as an important finding
for the E field of research.
When the guide is separate, the common desire is to manage the projects,
which are very complicated, it is obvious, and the analysis of the stakeholder
must be integrated to obtain the results of the complications. In the standard
of the PMI, different tools along with the methods were stated. For handling
the complication, the additional tools that are mentioned in the interview must
be scrutinized critically.
Whereas EAM stands for “Enterprise architecture model” and it is the
specific model to demonstrate the relationships with information technology along
with the activities of the business in a company. The analysis of the Monte
Carlo is also called the Scenario analysis, and it is addressed for an
interview. To handle the complication, the rank of participants is in the first
positions. By the fishbone diagram, the influence diagram is also interpreted,
which could be the method of the complication together with the similar arrow
diagram. An influence diagram is a typical diagram which presents complications
reasons and not the methods for handling. The Agile management is concerned
with methods which are used, for the control of the complications by the
situational approach.
BSC stands for the balanced scorecard, in the literature review, which
is mentioned in the handling of the complication. Thus this method is not
supported in the interview. The BSC is used for the KPI tracking, and this
method is very useable for the program of the portfolio management along with
it is partially suitable for the project management.
The research field D, in these new methods, is used which is the rarely
proposed method for handling of the complication. It is an unusual method for
research in the literature of complication that is not familiar with the
project managers
