For this the PIA I have selected is Communication style. There are a lot of reasons why I have
selected that PIA. The first major reason is that a group is working in the
organization as a team. If their communication style is perfect then it will be
quite easy for them to manage different task. This team is selected by the one
leader or manager of the organization. If the group is very good in communication
then it will be easy for the organization to make new changes for the
betterment of the organization.
Evaluation:
Identify the purpose of the activity and determine how or why the activity met
or did not meet its objectives.
The main purpose of this activity is to tell the class to give
proper overview of the groups in the company. Tell the individuals about the
importance of groups that are working in the organization. The next purpose is
to aware of the class about the significance of groups that are working in the
organization. This activity is completely meeting the main objective of the
course. The main reason is that this course deals with organizational
behaviour. Moreover, the groups are one of the most important factors of
organizational behaviour. This is because if the structure of group is perfect
then it will be easy for the organization to complete required goals.
Emotional
state: Describe how you felt while doing the activity and why did you felt that
way.
On doing this activity, in the start, I was extremely confused why I
have to do for completing this activity. But after this by completing some
modules that are related to this activity. I have learned many new things. The
modules that are set for this module are completely perfect. This is because
all modules are arranged in perfect manner that will help to gain proper
knowledge about the whole course. I can say that through completing all
activities that are related to this module it will easy to do anything for the
organization in a perfect way.
Analysis:
Use OB theories to explain the PIA results and your behaviours within the group
context.
The organization
behavior theory for the group context is decision-making behavior theory. The
reason is that through the perfect decision making the organization is able to
make new changes with perfection. This theory is also mostly applied to
managers and groups of the organization. This is because they always have to
make perfect decision for the betterment of the company. This theory is applied
to the groups mostly that are working in a particular organization. The reason
is that the groups always make decision through long discussions and results.
After this they submit their decision that will help the company in making
progress.
Conclusions
and recommendation: Draw conclusions about yourself as a group member and
describe what actions are you going to take to improve/change yourself so that
you can be a better employee, group member and/or manager
Summing up all the discussion from above it is concluded that groups
are extremely important for maintaining the organizational behaviour in a
perfect way. The groups are able to make top class decisions for the company
that will help the company in gaining profit for the future. The importance of
groups is varied according to the type of organization. If the organization
focus on enhance the communication style between the group then it will be easy
for them to handle different problems. For the organization there is some
recommendation that is related to the groups. Every organization must have to
focus on making perfect group that will gain more profit for the future. The
groups must have to discuss all ideas, and then according to that they have to
present decision-based on discussions.
