Recommendations and Conclusion on the Royal Oman Police

      I can conclude on my work experience that it was a great learning curve for me and it gave me so much knowledge, information and skill, which could be instrumental for my future as a professional in my field. I was impressed with the professionalism held in every department of the Royal Oman Police. Every department looked so much organized and followed all given procedures and rules. I must conclude that overall experience was interesting as well as it came up with so much practical knowledge, which I did not had earlier. We used to learn theoretical knowledge that how things should ideally be done in a professional as well as practical environment, but it was great to experience that professionalism in ROP. I was able to gain so much about professional attitude and behavior, which should be followed. The communication was something, which I would like to focus more in coming work experiences, because I felt that I was not that good in communicating with others, whereas they were open and friendly. So I must improve my communication skills as communication can be so crucial. When peers have good communication skills, and communicate well with each other, then they can really support each other in handling day to day tasks. The good communication skills enhances the efficacy of overall work experience. Moreover, I also must admit that work experience in ROP looked different from any other business organizations, as here the environment was more organized, strict and everyone has to follow the rules in any given circumstances. The overall work experience was so interesting and informative that I would like to pursue any of such kind of work experience opportunity and enhance my professional knowledge, skills, capabilities, and work abilities.

b)

        Before making any recommendations, I should say that I am not that experienced person to give considerable recommendations to anyone, but good thing about my personality is that I have always been a good observer. I always observe my surrounding environment, so I was able to pursue my observation during this work experience as well. So, these recommendations are going to be based on my humble observation. My first recommendation is to the department as well as overall ROP organization that they must hire more human resources for more speedy work processes. Every area off work processes was great followed by discipline and rule, but sometimes, I really noticed that process was slow, because of lack of good enough numbers off human resources. So, it would be great for them to hire more skills and professional workers who inject more energy and efficiency in the organization. My recommendation to the college and any other students is that whenever they get an opportunity to work in organized organizations like ROP, they should not shy away from such opportunities and grab it with both hands because such work experience will boost their energy to work confidence and knowledge level. Every student should pursue such opportunities during his/her studies period, as it would enhance their practical knowledge.
