Discussion of Dhofar Bank, Observational Research

        Observational research is one of the most common methods for gathering knowledge about the various things in our surroundings and the different processes occurring in nature related to these things. So there will be nothing wrong in saying that observation is the most common and fundamental method of research for getting guidance and instruction about anything around easy in the most easy way but with keeping in mind that observation is not only a type of just watching thing, it need a deep and continuous attention for observing the processes that what is going on so that information can gather appropriately (Glymour, 2019).

        Observer observes variety of processes associated with its concern and conclude points from these observations. The observational research varies accordingly that there can be some advantages with some disadvantages of this research.

Aims of observational research:

Viewing actions and events from the point of view of surroundings and according to the people perspective.

Providing clues to understand the reality of life.

There can be better understanding of the events when there is knowledge of their brief early history and context.

Social life as a interlocking series of events.

No prior frame of references is imposed in this study.

There is rejection of post conducting research.

Background of Dhofar bank

        Dhofar Bank is Omani based Private financial institution that was established in 1990s in Muscat, Oman. The bank takes part in the retail, investment and corporate banking activities in various cities of Oman. Dhofar Bank offers its customers with the services of current and saving accounts as well as recruiting deposits. Moreover, the Dhofar bank offer loans to its customers for cars, housing, education, business and personal loan. Dhofar bank is running its business in highly competitive world therefore; the management has to account every factor that can influence its performance. Likewise, the relationship between the employees and management is also a considerable factor that influences the performance of the organization. Therefore, this research is aimed to observe the relationship between the employees and management of Dhofar bank with an aim to identify the factors through observational research that can influence the performance of the organization. Likewise, the observational research will also discuss in a way that how it can influence the Dhofar Bank’s consumer behaviour.
