This study is all about
the development of software projects and their success. It focuses on the
general elements which are related to the development of software rather than
specific issues which are linked with a specific process of method. In this
study, two research questions have been listed and further studied.
1. The problem (s) specifically addressed by the
paper / Research Questions
In this research
paper, the issue of stakeholders with the success of the software project.
Another issue that the research paper is focusing on is the factors which are
important in the success of a software project. These problems were identified
using the systematic mapping of literature.
2. Approach, Techniques, Models, Methodology
used to tackle the problem (s)
For answering these
issues or problems, some of the renowned databases were used, namely Web of
Knowledge, IEEE Xplore, and ACM Portal. Furthermore, a list of important
documents or papers in parallel were generated for helping in the determination
of relevancy and reliability of the search strings and searching process. And
they can be summarized as Xn or X2 or X1. The search strings were limited for
the duration of 2003-12 and the search itself to nothing but keywords,
abstract, and title. Almost ninety-percent of the primary students that were
utilized were reports of experience.
3. Strengths
of the Paper
In order to answer the questions and solve
the mystery, an efficient approach was used and questions were answered
precisely.
4. Weaknesses
of the Paper
The answers were probable and proper success
couldn’t be ensured just on the basis of them.
5. Potential
Improvements
The research paper actually aims to give
general possibilities which can be improved to further precise approaches.
6. Other
Comments (if any)
The success of a software project in the perspective of a stakeholder
hasn’t been explored so often. That is why, it is a good initiative.
