The
huge effect of social and economic environmental pollution on the daily lives
of the different peoples which are increased the significant of the research
conducting that will allow the researcher assesses the environmental damage
during the term of the economic and the social. Such an evaluation will
progress the capability of the public to quantitatively grasp the effect of
environmental pollution as well as the effectiveness of the existing policies
of the environmental. The quantitative evaluation of the effect of
environmental pollution will also give the information to improve the
effectiveness of the government decision making ( Khan & Ghouri, 2011). During the
recognitions of these facts, an environmental economist has started the search
for the feasible techniques for an estimate of losses of economic, which gives
results from the environmental pollution. Omani’s environmental economists
started to approximation the cost of environmental pollution losses during the various
periods (Lexarabiae Meyer reumann, 2019).

For the control of the Marine pollution, the Law is
established in 1974 under the sections of the (Royal Decree No. 34/74), for
reflecting the initial concerns of Oman for the protection of the environment
of the oceanic lives. Due to the various types of pollution as well as
pollutant particles that come ships this laws have been established. This law
is strictly implemented ion the free Zone of Oman such as; oil transport
facility and shore location. This zone is referred to as the belt that is made
by the water around the territorial waters of Oman and it had been spread in
the distance of the 38 miles. If the any tried to exploit this law, he or she
will be liable to pay their maximum penalty of the 25, 000 in OMR for the violation
of the single rule. If anyone violates the multiple laws, he has to pay 4
million OMR, and it can devastating for the person permanently or temporarily
for all of the rights of the environment that are suggested by the governments.
This law defined all of the terms such as; “pollution control officer, operator and
oil transport facility (Abuzinada, et al., 2008).

From Stationary Sources, the
Control of Air Pollution is referred by the Ministerial Decision under the
sections No. 118/04 orders that scientific methods must be employed by the
owners. Particularly it is specified by the ministry of Oman for disposal and
their treatment and for the anticipation of the emission of pollutants. Over a
specified density, the emission of smoke is prohibited under this law. This law
prohibited agricultural waste in the open and burning of organic materials. If
any party wants to install Chimney, he must be to take approval from the government
and the agencies of the government. The heights of these all chimney will also decide
at the time of the approval of the laws (Anon., 2012).
Noise pollution quoting relevant Royal
Decree.
In
Public Places, the Control of Noise Pollution is decided under the Ministerial
Decision No. 79/94. It is recommended by all of these laws the level of the noises
will be decided on the public places classification. This law is also used to identifying the
various sources of the noises at the various places such as; Road traffic, the
operation of commercial, Industrial plants, Airports, construction sites and
other aircraft. During the day on holidays and weekdays, Differences in noise
levels can be measured by the agreement with the usual prevailing standards. For controlling the noise pollution, the
direction of the wind velocity is law considered along with humidity and
temperature (Calvin H. Allen, 2016).
As we
acknowledged that most of the bio diverse environment is located in the Middle
East, which makes it clear about the association of Oman with the environment.
Therefore, it is considered to be quite important to regulate the pollution in
Oman to protect its natural environment. The regulation of pollution in Oman
purposes to make sure that the development in the economy would not increase
the expenditures of its natural environment (IBP, 2009).
