The
effective implementation and utilization of information and communication
technologies optimizes the security in the smart grid when WSNs are employed. The
mechanisms and model are applied in Europe for enhancing information integrity.
The security of smart grids can be upgraded by the use of efficient
countermeasures of security. Against automation systems, cyber-attacks must be
prevented for the application of actuating networks. In addition, there is a
necessity of the development of an integrating system of security for
mitigating cyber-security threats with the development of a security framework
for performing wireless communication (Mo, et al., 2012).
