In this research study, there two types of
research approaches are user one is the qualitative research that is carried
out by using the previous researchers work, and another other approach is the
quantitative research that is carried out by using the primary data for the
research. In this research study for the primary data, the questionnaire method
would be used. .This research will continue to study the same, but it will look
into it from a different perspective that is specifically on the factors causing
and contributing delays on wastewater project in Oman. The selection of factors
causing delays of time and cost overrun have been collected and consolidated
from the past theories that will be (Contractor related, Consultant related,
Client related and other factors. The theories are collected from different
industries in Oman and other countries such as Malaysia, India, Jordan, Kuwait,
and Qatar and will link these Independent variables with Wastewater industry to
explore and investigate further the factors causing delay on wastewater
projects and the impact. Other factors may be added if found in qualitative and
quantitative, questioner/interviews during the data collection process.
Operational
definition of Exploring Factors Causing
Delays on Wastewater Projects in Oman
In this research study, there are a total of five
variable from which one variable "delay in wastewater project"
depends variable and remaining four client-related factors, contractor related
factors, external factors and the consultant related factors are the
independent variables of the research. All of the independent variables = in this
research study are having a sort of impact on the dependent variable. In this
research study, it is expected that there is a positive relationship between
the variables.
Thesis
Delimitation of Exploring Factors Causing Delays on Wastewater Projects in Oman
This research
is majorly focused on the Oman country as the wastewater project is part of the
country. All of the factors that are discussed in this research are applicable
only in the Oman economical and governmental structure. The financial policy of
Oman will continue to be tight as rates of interest rise. For Oman, the core
social distress is the deficiency of jobs and the opposing effects of funding
reform on susceptible households. The scenario of employment has been
thought-provoking, in spite of economic activity getting a boost. In Oman
conditions of inflation continued to be supportive and comfortable of
development, in spite of some flow in inflation in the current past.
