To become a successful
architect, it is essential to have architecture designing skills. Material
design thinking, creative and interior designing thinking enable me to create
valuable and practical ideas for the development and progress of a piece of
architecture. I have improved and polish my ability to create effective ideas
and portrayed them at an appropriate level. The excellent designing skills
improve the ideas of seeing through the obstacles and project issues and
processes that can generate the approved completion level. There is a number of
factors that induces impact on the completion of the project (Maina, 2018).
Talking to the customers enables management to engage them in a conversation
that is related to the work and gets paid for the smoothness of the process.
For the successful architecture project, the role of individual people is
important, but at the same time it is important for the manager to have basic
knowledge of design team leader process, cost consultancy and quantity surveyor,
building contract and excess to a consultant, structural engineering, client
handling mechanism, and environmental engineering. Other skills for the design
to deliver on the basic concepts of requirement is included design concept,
financial conditions, drawing of basic plots, innovative, integrated, and
mathematical model making, and leadership in energy and environmental designing
(LEED) (Bcu. ac. uk, 2015).
I planned to improve my interpersonal and
employability skills to make me worthier for any organization. I will improve my
drawing skills with the combination of state of art technology usage. The
drawing skills can be improved by using different software such as CAD
designing. I will brush up my knowledge of foreign languages (Oluwatayo, et al., 2016). Other skills that I will improve our problem-solving
skills and stakeholder management skills to strengthen my performance at work.
it is not easy to learn about new principals at once, therefore, it will
require continuous constructive efforts to make me able to adopt new solutions
situation and processes. the threats that might affect my plan are
circumstances and obstacles. the current sources available to improve my
qualification and employability skills Royal Institute of British architecture
studio (RIBA) and Architects Registration Board (ARB). the Royal Institution of
British architecture studio is not offering any type of conversion courses for
the graduates, but it will provide practicing environment to improve my skills (Maina, 2018).
