Flexible time work is the way the staff can start work different than
normal working time. This allowing staff to start work in the time sutible to
them, however it should be within the regulation of the orginisation. It
involve that all staff should be at work in a period of a time, example staff
can come earlier or later than 730 to 10 am but they all should be at work from
10 to 12.
I support flexible time working hours when suitable regulations are
placed. It mostly can be applied to my department as we are technical and some
time staff needs to come earlier to do some work early in the morning
especially during summer; these staff then will leave earlier. Normal working
hour will not help in this case. However, the most critical issue is that some
technical work which need supervision by senior specialist need to be completed
during the normal work time of the supervisor.
So, I flexible time is to be applied, it should be involve both all
staff level and to make sure that supervisor are available to provide guidance
at any stage.
