As
discussed earlier, the teachers are the one who is responsible for educating
the students and providing them with quality education. The director of the
high school manages all the teachers of the school and keep a record of their
performance. If the head of the high school is not going to manage the teachers
accurately, then it will impact the performance of the school (GLATTER, et al., 2016).
The challenges such as poor grades of students, increase in student dropout,
lack of communication between student and teachers and other major issues may
arise due to ineffective management of the teachers. Due to the above-discussed
challenges, the performance of the school will decrease, which might affect the
reputation of the school as well (Whitaker, 2014).
That
is why it is highly important to know how the school directors can better
manage their staff members. This research is exploring how the head of the high
school can improve their management skills and how the challenges which the
director of the school faces during managing staff can be overcome. There are
many research studies that have focused on the educational institution and
their performance; however, there is a need to investigate further the ways
through which the role of director of high school can be understood (Crow, et al., 2017).
It
is evident that when the director of high school is going to manage their staff
efficiently, then the school performance will automatically increase. This
study’s aim is to provide the ways through which school directors can improve
their management abilities. The study significance of the study can be
understood from the fact that it is highly essential for good performance of
students (Dowd, 2018). The students
are the future of any country because when they complete their education, they
join their respective fields and work for the benefit of their countries if the
students are going lack of skills & knowledge, then how they are going to
serve their country (Scherer, 2003).
