An
extensive literature review is performed together with the data for the
research study. The literature review is performing to know what other researchers
have contributed regarding the research topic and whether the research gap
lies. The researchers perform a literature review to identify the research gap
and then conduct the study so that the research gap can be filled. Various
researchers have provided a variety of information about the role of headmaster
in managing the schools.
In
the research study conducted by Anders Bohlmark, Erik Gronqvist and Jonas
Vlachos have provided deep insights regarding the significance of school
headmaster in the management of the school. The researchers have stated that
the school headmasters have a huge impact on school outcomes. The huge amount
of data is gathered for performing the research. The panel data is used in the
study. The findings of the research study have shown that the school head has a
substantive effect on the working conditions, school policies and student
outcomes. However, the researchers have stated that it is difficult to find whether
the management practices of the principal are successful or not. The study has
huge scope due to its extensive amount of information which it has provided
regarding the management of the school by principals (Böhlmark, et al., 2016).
Gary
Crow, Christopher Day and Jorunn Moller have conducted research on the school
principals and their role in the school. The researchers have stated that
school principals play a key role in making the identity of the student and
their development. In the study, the researchers have discussed that leadership
play an important role in improving the school and learning of the students.
Through this research, those factors are identified, which makes the school
principal successful. Overall this study has provided a brief overview
regarding the role and importance of the principals in the school. According to
researchers, the principals are essential for controlling varies activities
which are happened in school (Crow, et al., 2017).
The
researchers Lavdim Terziu, Nazyktere Hasani and Osman Osmani, have provided a brief
overview regarding the role of the school principal. According to researchers,
school principals play a vital role in increasing the success of the students. The
researchers in the study stated that the success of their students depends on
many factors in which the role of the head pf school is among the most
important. In recent years the student success has immerged as a major issue. This
study has chosen quantitative research design for investigating the role of the
principal in the success of the students. The semi-structured interviews and
questionnaires are utilized for gathering the data for the research study. The findings
of the study show that the school principal does play a role in increasing the
success of the students. With support to teacher and students, the school
principal can increase the success of the students up to a lot of extents (Terziu, et al., 2016).
The
study conducted by Vali Mehdinezhad and Masoumeh Mansori has discussed the
leadership behaviour of the school principal and how it affects the self-efficacy
of the teachers. The researchers have said in the study that the principal of
the school has a significant amount of influence of the school teachers. The research
design of this study is descriptive. The sample size of 254 teachers is taken
through proportional sampling. The findings of the research show that there is a
relationship between the leadership behaviour of the principal and the self-efficacy
of the teachers. This study can be further investigated by future researchers (Vali & Masoumeh, 2016).
Philip
Hallinger Nooriyah Hashemi, Rezvan Hosseingholizadeh and Masoumeh Kouhsari have
conducted the research which explores how the leadership of the principal effects
the self-efficacy of the teachers. The researchers have stated that the
principal has a major impact on the teachers. For collecting the data for this study,
the survey has been performed, and data from 111 principals and 345 teachers are
collected. The finding of the research shows a significant amount of influence
on the teachers. In other words, the principal of the school has an influence
on the teacher and the overall performance of the school (Hallinger, et al., 2018).
Neuro-linguistic
programming (NLP) is somehow related to some set of skills, beliefs, and attitudes
that makes a person able to achieve more than that was previously perceived by
them. Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) also support the educational system
through the appropriate applications in the learning and teaching areas. Tutors
and teaching use Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) models to support their
children learn effectively and elegantly. Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is
an approach which relates to the strategic analysis supported by some
successful individuals including the application of personal goals (Tosey &
Mathison, 2010).
NLP
concerns with the specific outcomes, behavioral patterns, thoughts, and
experiences. NLP bring changes in the attitude, communication skills, and
perception of an individual and makes a person enable to encourage positive
changes in life. Breaking down the concept of Neuro-linguistic programming
(NLP) it can be said that Neuro represents the thinking patterns which support
the linguistic system to understand the language of the mind. While programming
relates to installing, improving, and creating strategies for thinking (GoodTherapy, LLC., 2019)
Research indicates that thinking
affects our experiences. The linguistic influence the behavior and responses
through utilizing advanced tools, particularly related to non-verbal and verbal
communication and support the human brain to earn excellence and resolution to
the issues. Research study concludes that NLP provide advantages to the
educational system as it help the tutors understand how their students are
learning and what are the most suitable methods to transfer learning outcomes for the students?. Right application of NLP in the classroom can
result in the increase of students learning achievement and academic scores.
Furthermore, coaching also supports the students to be more confident and
creative in their learning (Tosey & Mathison, 2010). Although, it also
improves the decision making process in individuals. According to a research study, learning based
on the fear and tension can only result in the increase of mental stress and
depression for the leaners somehow, NPL enactment reduces stress and encourage
learning (Sugar NLP Ltd, 2019)
