        Monaco is known as the 2nd smallest country in whole over the world after the Vatican. The Grimaldi family has ruled the country which supported by its attractive seaside image which attracts many tourists to visit the country.

Even though Monaco has its outstanding history as an anchorage city, but the country has developed as peaceful heaven for the famous and luxury societies which belong in a principality status and enjoy a free tax from that.

Brief History of Monaco

        Monaco’s sheltered anchorage was first occupied and named with Monoikos in 6 BC by the Greeks. The history also mentioned that the great Hercules was passing throughout the country, and thus, you would find the Temple of Monoikos, which created to honour this hero.

Without these sectors, its economy cannot lift. It stands out from other places due to its gambling industry as well. Although gambling doesn’t have much of a role in its economy now, it still is an important aspect of the area. Tourists around the world visit the area due to its casinos. The Culture of Monaco

        The culture of Monaco has influenced strongly by France, Spain, and Italy as its neighbour countries. The French have known as the biggest group in the country, having 28% of the population there. This situation supported by the fact that the original population in Monaco, which is the Monegasques make up merely around 21% of Monaco’s population.

        The constitution in Monaco permits freedom for its people to have any religions that they preferred. Still, Monaco is famous and remain as a religious country. Besides, the biggest population in this country made up by the Roman Catholic, in fact, around 78% of the people there following their principles and beliefs.

        The Grimaldi family has ruling Monaco over the years and has also provided its essential role in inspiring the arts and culture in the country.
