Introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and India

            The technology changed so many things around the world and it continues to do so in different ways. One of such significant technologies is Artificial Intelligence (AI). First of all, this term was used in 1951, but even then, after introduction of this term, the progress was not considerable. But in recent times, it has progressed so much over the years. Many software and hardware are providing AI, like people have so many devices in their homes, workplaces, cars and pockets, which are equipped with predictive algorithms. These predictive algorithms are extremely great in powering the overall experience of using content on daily basis. One great example for progress of AI is from China, where Green Horizon Project has been launched by IBM, which tells 72 hours in advance that what will be the situation of bad pollution in Beijing. Moreover, the artificial intelligence changing the dynamics of so many things likes marketing. The content creators and marketers are being impacted by the essence of AI. Three revolutionary steps for AI have been created. First step is now; which is going on, second step is near; which means technologies to be developed soon, and third step is future; which relates to the boom of artificial super-intelligence (ASI) in the future (Skerrett, 2018). The boom for AI is on the go, and same is the case with India. India is also progressing with regards to technology of IA. The purpose of this paper is to discuss AI with regards to India covering range of relevant topics such as its history, progress, and governmental policies.
