Oppression straightforwardly stems
from the privilege. Oppressive practices are the key actions which are related
to the management of disadvantages and advantages based on social group
memberships and cultural levels. According to the research of Crisp, people
feel fear to be a victim of gender-based violence and obsession. The article is
mainly related to the experience of the researcher as a victim of oppression.
Particularly emphasis on the problems and issues of lesbian, researcher claimed
that lesbians should be also given equal rights for everything without any
gender related discrimination (Crisp, 2014).
According to Professor Bob Pease, a
small group of men is opposed to patriarchy. Their capability in the
reconstruction of their subjectivities results in the increase of challenges
for the structural foundations of their privilege and cultural privilege.
Particularly, such obsession practices are the key concern of PR feminist
masculinity and feminism. The concept of doing gender was presented by the West
and Zimmerman in 1987. Now some challenged approaches are causing to provide
some space of resistance and change. Gender inequality is challenged by the
undoing gender approach as it permits us to ensure identification of the way
through which we can challenge the reproduction of male privilege (Pease,
2013).
