Oman
is one of the fewest stable countries in the Middle East after the Arab Spring.
The limited sized protests take place in Muscat, Suhar and Salah. The political
and economic measures are taken by the government those were become more
popular to maintain its stability at the domestic level. The diplomatic
activities are just now concentrating on the talk for the facilitation between
the global and regional powers. Oman did count up how they contribute positively
to handle the instability at the international level in a particular region
because it is very hard enough control and dangerous enough for national
security.
The
analysis report on external issues of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry
(OCCI) shows the relative stability at the domestic level, and Oman is now
facing many hurdles on the middle terms. Besides all of the challenges or
issues that are discussed in the analysis report has to be dealt at the time of
growth in the regional instability. Oman directly is affected by the Qatari
crisis, the worst civil war of Yemen, the Saudi-Iranian rivalry and the
American withdrawal from the JCPOA. It was such impactful things for Oman chamber
of commerce and industry that did shrink the foreign policy leverage (Obeidat, et al., 2017)
