Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry
(OCCI) is an organisation for the public utility that was founded on 15th
May in 1973. The Oman Chamber of Commerce and industry focus on the regularising
the business interests, defend, business development and on the representation
in the different fields of business. Oman Chamber of commerce and industry
(OCCI) has its head office in Muscat and has several braches in there all
governorates. Besides the organisation has its juristic personality.
Oman
Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) General Assembly
OCCI’s general assembly has to carry out some
several tasks that mentioned below:
Consider the
annual report of the Oman chamber of commerce and industry (OCCI)
Has to approve
financial statements for the ended year and make the budget draft for the next
year.
You are revoking
the membership of those members who present at the general assembly.
Dissolving the
board of two-third of the general assembly
Makin was sure
that the business proposal submitted by all members round about 15 days before
the meeting.

the mentioned bylaws, the organisational board has to carry out some functions.
The board of the chamber of commerce contains 15 members as following.
Five members are selected through the
secret balloting from Muscat governorate which registered at the head office.
Chairman of all boards in Oman chamber of
commerce and industry branches at the provinces/governorates.
Porter Five Forces Analysis of Identifying

business strategies to get more effective results that could take the organisation
out of the crisis, instability. When the company did apply this mode, then they
realised that it’s difficult to achieve their desired goals. The team of
marketers did apply the model to make the effective and useful strategies for
betterment. The model is used to do analyse the strategies which are made up of
marketers whenever they analyse the strategies then they will incur the results,
and then marketers can make new strategies for the enhancement of the business.
The porter five forces analysis contain five forces that are mentioned below.
The first one is competition in the industry, and the second one is to know
about the new entrant’s potential in the market, the third one is the strengths
of the supplier , fourth one is to know about the power of the customer and the
last one is to know about the threats of the substitute products (Sonja Nebel, 2016).

The Oman chamber of commerce and the industry applied the
model to the organisation to know about the real and competitors on in the
market. When they applied, they realised that many companies in the other
countries wanted to grow their businesses after knowing all the things they
started to support the national companies to go further. It was very beneficial
in the analysis that made the strategies better to gain higher sales of the
organisations and get a large profit.
