Evidence-based practice is a
method to use scientific evidence derived with clinical experience and practice
of patient care (Janet & Kathleen, 2010).
While evidence-based
practice is considered to solve clinical problems and making policies in health
care, but it is different from problem-solving and decision making. The
analysis of evidence-based practice argued with the problems and limitations of
evidence-based practice. Following with other links, a more comprehensive evidence
theory could be formed (Chaffin, 2004).
In this blog, we summarise
the study of evidence-based practice in child abuse. In this approach, we study
the child welfare and maltreatment of society with the child. The relationship
between evidence and practice cannot explain the basis of main subject. Child
abuse most likely to flourish in the society where parents face low-income
problems and child face maltreatment of the society. Parents avoid
investigation due limited resources. The low-income child should covered with
the safety measures in society (C. Crosson-Tower, 1999).
For the development of
evidence-based practice, it is necessary to go with the scientific assumptions.
The consideration is not based on rationality but the evidence and decision
making based on rationality (S. A. Webb, 2001).
