In the Middle East, huge reserves
of petroleum are owned by Saudi Arabia and they are known for it along with
their status as the richest and largest nation. In 1993, they became a World
Trade Organization’s part and their flourishing political and economic
struggles can be determined easily in the region of Middle East. A case study
at present has been considered by the research in which the focus is upon Saudi
Aerospace Engineering Industries or SAEI. Due to the privatization of this
sector and assisting in gaining simultaneous data from public and private
sector, this study was carried out. The type of case study was exploratory as
the impacts on HRM functions by the Arabian culture were found by the study. The
research showed that Saudi Arabia along with other Gulf countries harnesses the
teen population which works very hard according to the duties given by the
country and lead the country to success. King Abdullah manages The Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia in a very efficient way. For the reforming of country’s
infrastructure, initiatives were taken by him with cooperative and
collaborative management. In order to leave a significant imprint on the global
economy, local contributors are to be utilized by Saudis with the foreign reliance’s
reduction. Therefore, contributors will be able to become worldwide citizens due
to the self-sufficiency. At present, a cloud of unemployment is over Saudi
Arabia and there is proper direction for the huge reserves. Some main reasons
of unemployment are: high salary expectations, lack of satisfaction, less
fringe benefits, and low motivation. Will this specific region of Gulf be able
to grasp the lost power again is actually the question.

In Ghana, the Public Serves
Commission’s call has been to increase the levels of productivity in the public
sector to balance the private sector’s levels. Michie&Oughton (2003)
suggest that bringing both of sectors towards each other in terms of productivity
needs developed productive infrastructure, improved training and education,
high investment capital and people, and development and research. Some further
suggestions have been given by Michie&Oughton (2003) on the topic of
improving productivity that consistent improvement is required in
organizational design, corporate governance, and management practice. It has
been pointed out by guests, Sheenan, Michie & Conway (2003) that
competitive advantage and raising productivity are the biggest challenges for
an organization. It has been argued by Sherman, Snell & Bohlander (2001)
that for achieving an advantage when it comes to competition, a more central
role has been taken by people. The fact has been reiterated by them that
company’s success relies on the know-how that is people-embodied of the company
which consists of abilities, skills, and knowledge embed in the workers of the
company. Macmillan and Schuler (1984) suggest that organizations are able to
efficiently meet the challenges that are equipped with resources which are
scarce. Actually, such resources are related to human resources of this
category if they are efficiently implemented using different practices of human
resources. Thus, of the best tasks is to manage the human resources
effectively. Human Resource Management’s research has determined that an
organization’s caliber of human research highly affects its success. Meanwhile,
the caliber is affects practices of human resource management of the
organization.
