        Bartaco restaurant is influenced by the beach culture of southern California, Brazil and Uruguay. Restaurant provides upscale street food to its customers. We wanted to provide the feel of beach resort to our customers so that the can get memorable experience each time they visit the restaurant. There are many restaurants out there that provide food & drink however we come up with this exciting idea so that customers can enjoy something different.

What led to your creative, innovative mindset? What inspires you?

        In the restaurant business it is important to provide something unique and different to the customers so that the restaurant can grab the market share. People want to go on such place where they can get relaxing atmosphere and the theme which other restaurants do not provide to their customers.

What’s the best advice you were given?

        The best advice that I have received from my fellow businessmen and friends is to focus on the needs & preferences of the customers and differentiate your business from the rest of the businesses that are present in the market.

What advice would you give someone starting in your field?

        I would advise the fellow businesses or such individuals who want to enter into the restaurant business is to provide something different and exciting to the customers so that they can come at the restaurant. It is important to keep on upgrading the menu of the restaurant so that customers’ needs can be efficiently fulfilled.

How did you overcome barriers in the existing or new market?

        We have overcome the barriers by providing an exciting ambiance to the customers. We provide variety of food options on different locations and differentiate ourselves in the market which allow us to gain competitive advantage over other restaurants. It is important for a restaurant business to provide best customer services and our employees are highly professional with respect to customer services. Our employees are highly motivated and serve their customers the best food in town.

What basic points were initially overlooked that may have contributed to failure? What was the impact and how did you integrate the necessary changes

        In the beginning of the business it is hard to generate sales at once. In the beginning the people were not much aware of our restaurant but with the passage of time Bartaco starts generating profit. In the beginning we have made many mistakes which leads to failure however we have learned from our mistakes and move the restaurants on the path of success.

How do you define success?

        When the customers are satisfied and the business is generating significant amount of profit than it can be said that business is working successfully. The aim of every business is to generate profit therefore in my point of view profit generating business is successful business.

To what do you attribute your success to?

        We highly focus on customer satisfaction and differentiation therefore we attribute our success to these to strategies that we have implemented successfully.

How did you know that you could bring your idea to fruition?

        People are connected with culture and traditions. Providing the customers the ambiance of southern California beach or the beach of Brazil will definitely grab the attention of the customers. Therefore I know that this idea will become successful and with the passage of time the ambiance of the restaurant will gain significant amount of popularity in the market.

        The business had not face any major failure in starting a business. In the beginning of the business it is hard to generate sales at once. In the beginning the people were not much aware of our restaurant but with the passage of time Bartaco starts generating profit. The basic point which the restaurant does not focus is the food options that restaurant provide initially to its customers because it is important to upgrade the menu with passage of time.

In terms of next steps, how do you plan to sustain or evolve your business?

        We have decided to expand the restaurant in different states and cities so that business can provide its services to lots of customers. It has been decided to focus on the theme and ambiance that we provide to our customer along with some new dishes and drinks.

How do you keep a balanced life? Personal and work balance to prevent burnout?

        I spend significant amount of time with my family members and friends which allow me to manage stress efficiently. We have overcome the barriers by providing an exciting ambiance to the customers. We provide variety of food options on different locations and differentiate ourselves in the market which allow us to gain competitive advantage over other restaurants.
