Native Americans had always been
seen as outcasts and their religion was just a red flag for White Americans to
see them as more different. Although the Native Americans had been driven away
and pushed deep into the Western parts, their religion and their different
creed both had a part in their torment. The White Americans thought differently
than Mormons who wanted the American Indians to join Christianity. The land on
which Native Americans used to live, it was snatched from them because they
were thought of inferior and their religion was different. They were driven
mostly on the base of their race as they looked different from the White
Americans. However, the torture that they were subjected through definitely had
the sectarian violence involved in it. They were driven to the West where they
formed communities due to both racism and sectarian violence.
