Innovative Idea by Using Six-Stage Process

             The unsatisfied users with the business not only damage the reputation of business in society but also cause a threat to the profitability.  Now the business world is more like problems solvers where every day people come with new solutions of the existing everyday problems that people are having. It is also very important for the business to fulfill the requirements of their customer. The three main problems that we face in our daily life are as follow (HOWARD, GIBBENS, ELAINA ZACHOS, & PARKER, 2019):

1.      We can see the glass or plastic bottles (for beverages or water) everywhere, the problems is that the people need a straw or glass to pour the drink or they have to drink it in the bottle that is uncomfortable especially for women.

2.      The people while driving the car have a lot of problems to get the sun out of their face especially in hot areas.

3.      People who ride bikes and cycles to go to school and offices normally get their shoes dirty while riding.

Problem Definition

One problem that is selected is glass or plastic bottles (for beverages or water) everywhere, the problems is that the people need a straw or glass. There are many of the company in the market that are producing an immense amount of bottles every day especially the beverages processing companies use bottles as the container of beverages items; it cause a need for more user friendly design of bottles. To identify the problems effectively, there is a need to answer five whys that are as follow (HOWARD, GIBBENS, ELAINA ZACHOS, & PARKER, 2019):

·         Who. The business and factories of beverages need to solve the problem

·         What. The bottles of the beverages need to be more friendly and easily drinkable

·         Why. The people have the issues in drinking beverage with them not have any glass or straw.

·         When. On daily bases people use bottles to drink water and other beverages

·         Where.  This problem is occurring all around the world.

Problems Statement:

“It can be see the glass or plastic bottles (for beverages or water) everywhere, the problems is that the people need a straw or glass to pour the drink or they have to drink it in the bottle that is uncomfortable especially for women. A more user friendly design of the bottles needed that have the solution for the problems.

Idea Generation

Some of the potential solutions for the problems at hand are the following:

1.      Place biodegradable stew with the bottle

2.      Produce reusable straws

3.      Place wooden stew with the bottle

4.      Place silver stew with the bottle

5.      Place disposable straw with the bottle

6.      Place disposable glass with the bottle

7.      Place biodegradable glass with the bottle

8.      Replace the bottles with glasslike containers

9.      Promote the existing design by encouraging drinking in bottles

10.  Make fancy bag size glass for the people who want to drink from bottle.

These are the potential solutions that can be used to overcome the problem that people are having about drinking the beverages.

Idea Synthesis

The idea that is going to be selected to solve the problems of people have trouble with drinking beverage in the bottle is to place a biodegradable straw along with the bottle. In case of business the ideas like producing biodegradable plastic that is made in the factories and running environmental friendly marketing to promote biodegradable plastic use can be more effective solutions for the problems related to drinking beverages in the bottles. This solutions of the problems will make the bottles of the business more user friendly and easily drinkable. It is a new and effective idea that help the company to promote its business and increase the sales of bottles (HOWARD, GIBBENS, ELAINA ZACHOS, & PARKER, 2019).

Idea Evaluation

 It is important for the solution to not only help the business to solve the problems that customers are having. More user friendly bottles in company in the society and running environmental friendly marketing to promote biodegradable plastic. For all of the most suitable solution from the business, there are some advantages and disadvantages of the solutions. The disadvantages of producing biodegradable plastic that is made in the factories is that it can cause extra cost and labor to the company advantage of the company it will make the beverage easily drinkable to the customers everywhere. This solutions of the problems will make the bottles of the business more user friendly and easily drinkable (Addiss, 2018).

Solution Implementation

 The solution to the problem that is introduced would be implemented on an existing business which is a beverage company.   In the beverage company, a contract will sign with the product design persons to provide them with the design of bottle that contains disposable straw with biodegradable materials, the business must not choose plastic because it is not very good for the environment. In the implementation, the main problem is to making an effective budget to afford extra cost and labor (Addiss, 2018).
