Summary of Management

                In the reading two different types of goals as operative goals and official goals are discussed with examples. While according to the readings there are also conflicts in the personal goals and primary goals of the organizations. in the societal examples the example of a doctor is also discussed as if he reports that a sick person is not sick but healthy what will be consequences the sick person can face and if reports a well and healthy person as sick, how the claim of the doctor will influence the life of the patient (KERR 1975). Other than all that general organizational examples are also elaborated as concerning with orphans institutes, universities, ecology and evaluation of training. In another reading paper information regarding the Pygmalion in management is discussed in detail. Reading also covers the concepts as how the performance of the employees can be improved and how organizations can maximize their profitability and performance efficiency (Livingston 2003).

Affect of Management

        The topic also provide information about the efficient ways of management and the readings are concerned with management ways and goals setting for the organizations. Thus topic and readings both can influence the real managers working in the organization by bringing change in their attitude towards employees and goals setting. Through topic and readings managers can also understand that through what ways they can bring motivation in their employees.

Reflection of Management

        I learned new knowledge by working on this assignment, and understanding the topic and readings.  As a manager in the future I will use these strategies and information in the workplace to bring motivation in my employees as I will select the best ways of motivation by offering rewards and giving appreciation on showing good performance. I will bring efficiency in the overall organization by hiring young talent.
