        After comparing and contrasting the past and present customs and traditions of marriages in UAE, it can be concluded that a lot has changed in this regard. There are various factors, which have distinguished the past marriages from the present ones. The marriages were more engaging, classy and traditional in nature in the past, but now they have adopted a very much western and international culture attributes. The marriages in the past were simple and expenses were not too much, but modern day marriages are very costly, and lavish events are becoming more common in these marriages in UAE. Looking at these changes, it can be predicted that more changes are going to happen in future as well.
