In
this paper, there is the discussion on the cross-country differences analysis
in management practices; however, every country has its own management style
based on its culture. In the paper, there is the analysis of four countries
example, Japan, United Kingdom, United State of America and South Africa. For
the analysis of the strategies and management practices; the Toyota Group is
selected; because the company is effectively using management practices in the
countries according to the cultures. Kaizen and Just In Time (JIT) are two
conventional approaches under the management practices that are focused in the
paper (Monden 2011).
Moreover,
JIT principle is focused on the paper according to countries because every
country responds to the current demands and relates it management practices
with the culture. The differences and similarities in the practices of JIT and
Kaizen are concerned according to the countries example, Japan, United Kingdom,
United State of America and South Africa are focused. The concept of these
management practices JIT and Kaizen are started before one-hundred years and
Toyota Inc. applied the concepts for the production or acquisition after there
were the huge inefficiencies and lost revenue. The adoption of JIT and Kaizen a
continuous process improvement; was implemented by the Toyota Motor Company for
the development and manufacturing and success of the business (Akdeniz 2015).
