There
are several differences in the management and managerial practices of these
four countries, as Toyota in every country is managed according to the cultural
practices. The Japanese market is effectively managing the kaizen, JIT and lean
production for the Toyota but there are differences in managing the HRM
practices. As in the UK market, the management techniques of the JIT and Kaizen
system is based on the encouraging the flexibility and adaptability by amazing
the local cultural forces. There is more focus on the desire of the market and
there is quality control in the work standards. Consequently, there are
differences in Toyota standard operation because the production line of each
company effectively focused on the needs of quality assurance. The management
practices of the Toyota in South Africa is concerned about the better
management of the reputation for superior quality but there are still issues in
techniques of the just-in-time, however, South Africa has high inflation rate;
therefore, the management practices are not that fast like the practices in US
or Japan (Akdeniz, 2015).
National culture and management practices
Every
country is following the national culture, it is analyzed through the
assessment that every country is using the own cultural patterns in Toyota in
order to sell the vehicle effectively. It could be noticed thus, Japan stood
first in managing the management practices according to the culture because there
are better management and evaluation of the strategies, US is adopting the
techniques in this way, from Japan (Monden, 2011).
