In
this lesson, it was great to get information about the relationship between
happiness and physical health. In overall terms, physical health and happiness
does not seem connected to each other in my opinion, but this lesson has
changed my perspective about this point of view. It was so informative to know
that happiness and well being is closely related to good physical health. But
how they relate to each other in real terms, the answer can be found in the
research conducted by Dr. Martin Seligman, who told that optimism is considered
subjective health asset, which helps to reduce the disease like cardiovascular
disease, and functional health asset is exercise, which helps to decrease the
rate of mortality. I was so motivated to know that happiness can be so
important for our physical health. So, in last few days, I have tried to remain
happier. This change is noticed by my family that I am smiling and cherishing
my time these days more than ever before.
