Summing up the discussion about
the comparison between Triumph of the Will, Prelude to War, and Casablanca, it
can be said that these movies comprise dialogues by the major contestants and
showed so many varieties of characters with different roles to disseminate the
message or propaganda. The Prelude to War was a certified US Government film
statement about World War II, defining the numerous allies & enemies, and
what was the actual reason that they indulged in this war. In the movie, Triumph
of the Will, it was the willpower to depict Hitler's achievement over the
German people, and it included that discernable person's images were slowly
substituted by masses.
In the movie Prelude to War the
enemy propaganda & aggression can be easily seen. Different graphics, maps
and footages show that how the movie has tried to build a specific narrative.
The destructions of various buildings and other images are depicted in the
movie which clearly showed the problems which people were facing at that time
period. The way these movies portrayed history is very different from the
perspective, we always read about history.
In the movie Casablanca, Rick was
not expecting this to happen; that's why the issues for Rick became even
greater in number. But for moving to America, the refugees have to go to
Casablanca first. So, his café was a main stay for refugees. Overall, it may be
said that all of the movies have some aspects that are propagated and have the
ability to change the ideologies of people by reproducing the reality of the
historical events again.
