Weber
conducted a research
and found that companies with CSR know what they should give back to the
customers and society. They also have an understanding of their responsibility
to satisfy their shareholders. Due to that, a company needs to invest in CSR,
which they will get back by the effect of CSR on increasing the revenue of a
company. The company is responsible for the way they extend a caring hand to
the society as well as their clients.
The
paper therefore inquires the impact of the business of CSR activities by a
company’s perspective. Hypothetically,
moving towards a multi-dimensional imitation is urbanized which would be
acceptable to the company managers to level-up their business is said to be a
company definite case for the CSR. (Weber, 2008).
According
to researches by MOHR, WEBB, & HARRIS, (2001), the monetary declaration and
the CSR practices should have an optimistic association so that a positive
correlation could be put up between the conditions of that comparable time. The
corporation as well should know its CSR practices it ensures to enhance its
profits are not to use up the earnings. (MOHR, WEBB, & HARRIS, 2001)
Nowadays,
companies face pressure to strike a balance between productivity and working
within conditions acceptable to the society. However, researches now show a
link by supplying some data on corporate social responsibility’s impact on
productivity. In this paper, the conclusion is determined by interviewing the
customers that believe it is important to take into account a company’s social
responsibility. So it is appropriate to say that there are different types of
consumers that range from being indifferent to basing their purchases on a company’s
social responsibility is industrial from the inquisition that would likely to
be made in the study. (MOHR, WEBB, & HARRIS, 2001)
According
to another research by Wright & Hinson (2009), the public relation of the
companies could be affected by the technologies. The modern age of technologies
impacts companies as they have to ensure making the best way to connect with
their clients and improve their relations with them. (Wright & Hinson).
According
to yet another research by Sthapitonands (2015), the multi-national companies
(MNCs) are integral in bringing the western idea of social responsibility
practices to Thailand, a place which is predominantly Buddhist, so there are
many religious and social influences in incorporating western ideas of MNCs. Pid
Thong Lang Phra, a Thai phrase meaning ‘doing good deeds’ but not announcing
them, emphasises in a traditional cultural attitude to charitable ideas. As far as CSR in Thailand is concerned, there
is a slight consideration of local nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) in the
discourse and its relationship with the nationally-based corporations that do
CSR activities. (Saunders, 2012)
According
to research by Kolk, (2016), the social responsibility issues of past 50 years
are addressed by international business literature, which highlight the main
developments and implication from the lenses of history. Specifically,
attention to Journal of World Business (JWB), which has covered the entirety of
the era and published articles relevant to the issues, is paid; compared to the
Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS) and the IB Journal. This
article would talk about the illustration of different concepts of IB and
social responsibility. There are three subthemes: the environment, ethics,
rights and responsibilities, poverty and sustainable development. These are
discussed below.
