Organizations in the developing countries of
Asia have gone through a complete change process of shifting from traditional
to digitalized operations following the ICT adaptation and implementation. The
ICT has positive impact on the different function of organizational management
including planning, monitory and decision making (Bhatnagar, 2000). Moreover, ICT provide assistance to employees
and increase their productivity that results in increased employees’
satisfaction which is also an important aspect to achieve the organizational
effectiveness. ICT has improved the production capacity, product/service
quality along with data management capabilities of organizations in the
developing countries.
ICT implementation enables the organization to
improve decision making process at all the organizational levels and economize
the operations. The improvement in the organizational operation ensures the
improved performance on the overall organizational level. Similarly, the improved
organizational performance results in the increased profitability of the organization
(Bloom, 2014). Eventually, the
respective organization achieved the level of effectiveness and contributes in
the sustainable growth of national economy.
